Zarinah El-Amin Naeem is a cultural anthropologist, curator, artist, and the Publisher and Chief Spiritual Officer at Book Power Publishing. It functions as an independent self-publishing, consulting, and a creative-living company that aims to provide art, cultural, and travel programs to inform, entertain, and lead to action towards our culturally diverse communities' greater good. Zarinah is also the CEO and Founder of Beautifully Wrapped. This international interfaith organization brings together people of all cultures and ethnicities through the art of head wrapping. Beautifully Wrapped is dedicated to promoting beauty, spiritual identity, and women empowerment through education, publications, media, workshops, and celebrating the traditional headwraps' splendor. Beautifully Wrapped also serves as a fundraising organization through projects such as a wall calendar and companion traveling exhibition. It supports 10,000 Girls, a Senegalese non-profit, and the Enliven Your Soul Foundation for Global Advancement, an NGO based in Detroit dedicated to a cultural-ethnic Awareness within the Arts. Naeem El-Amin Naeem earned a B.S. in Systems and Computer Sciences from Howard University; then, she changed her career pathway to social sciences by studying an M.A. in Cultural Anthropology from Western Michigan University. It led her to write her first book Jihad of the Soul: Singlehood and the Search for Love in Muslim America and how single American Muslims balance their faith and the "hook-up" American culture.
