On April 8-10, 2020 (WISE) initiated #UnitedFaithsOfAmercia with New York’s Tri-state Faith Leaders representing major world religions – Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Sikhism, Hinduism, Jain, Buddhism, Native American – to present an online prayer addressing concerns and anxieties emanating from the growing COVID-19 pandemic.

#UnitedFaithofAmerica was made possible by the collaboration of sixteen faith & civic leaders including, Daisy Khan of WISE, Chancellor Arnold Eisen, Ruth Messinger, Rabbi Burton L. Visotzky of The Jewish Theological Seminary, Mindahi Bastida of Otomi-Toltec People, Rev. Chloe Breyer of Interfaith Center of New York, Simran Jeet Singh of Sikh Coalition, Rev. TK Kenjitsu Nakagaki of Buddhist Council of New York, Rev. Joel Gibson of Micah Institute, Sunita Viswanath of Sadhana – a coalition of Progressive Hindus, Koshin Paley Ellison of New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care, Anu Bindra of Sikh Gurdwara of Long Island, Dr. Panna Shah of Jain Temple of NY, Sheikha Maryam Kabeer Faye of Bawa Muhiyyadin Fellowship, Rev. K Karpen of St. Paul and St. Andrews United Methodist Church and Imam Tahir of NYPD and Albanian Islamic Cultural Center.

“By uniting spiritual influencers, we express our core beliefs- that we are as interconnected as a spiders web- by engaging individuals in spiritual reflection, we contribute to a common desire – the evolution of a holistic, unitive consciousness which transcends all boundaries and in which we can see God’s beauty in all creations” explains Daisy Khan, Founder Women’s Islamic initiative in spirituality and equality.
